Hair Cut

So Marissa walks into the hall bathroom on Sunday(thankfully after our family spoke in church), to find a pile of hair on the floor and scissors in Gavin's hand.  "Gavin! What are you doing?" she yells.
Dad bounds to the bathroom, with me following quickly.  Gdog decided he didn't like the feeling of the gel in his hair so he was getting it out.
Ughhh.  Really?
He had cut down to buzz-cut level in several places.  Most prominently in the very front on the top, where we usually stick it up.
About 20 minutes later I have basically cut the rest of his hair to that length.  Then comes the question he has on his mind.
"Why does it take you so long mommy?  When I do it I am fast!"

It brought back many memories of the kids cutting their own hair.

Jocelyn cut a piece in the back underneath her length of hair that never needed fixing, and was not noticeable.

Marissa had a cousin that cut it without her knowing.  I picked her up from playing and said to her Aunt "What happened to Marissa's hair?"  No else had noticed, the hair lying on the bathroom floor.

Tiffany never cut her hair--nor had a cousin do it for her thankfully.

I guess this moment was due with Gavin.  Better now than later.

Where is the photo. We never skyped Gaven giving his talk.

I should have taken a picture before I cut all his hair off. I know we need to have him give you his talk! I called you to try and Skype earlier this week, but you and Dad were on the road. Since then he has been pretty sick.
