Safety First

So Gavin was helping me unload the silverware from the dishwasher this morning.  There were a few knives to be put away, so he asked me to put them away for him explaining "if your a kid and you see a knife you should let a grown-up get it.  So you don't get cut."
"Yep" I responded.  "You're a really smart Safety kid Gavin."
"Yeah", says Gavin, "If I see a gun I should not touch it and tell a grown-up.  Right mom?"
"Yep Gavin!" I say
"Or" says Gavin "a Dad."
"That's right" I say stifileing a chuckle at the implication that Dad's are not grownups.
"And do you know what else Mom?"
"No, Gav, what?" I reply.
"If you see a bomb you shouldn't lite it.  Right?"
Wow I think, that is one dangerous playground for this kid!
Then continuing with his train of thought Gavin says, "Instead of lighting the bomb you should tell a grown up because they know where to throw it."

See a gun tell a grownup or a Dad

See a bomb don't lite it cause the grownups know where to throw it.
