Ideas for Service

Shawn is off on his trip this week, and I have been contemplating things I can do here to occupy my time, as well as help me feel like I am accomplishing things while he is gone.

I have decided to do a house project, and a service project each of the 4 weeks he will be gone.  (Heaven knows I have enough home projects to fill everyday he will be gone.)  I am hoping this will help me focus my thoughts and energy in a positive way.

But I need some ideas!  Watching someone's kids, or making dinner.  I would love to hear your ideas.

Comment in!  All ideas are welcome.

Take your daughter and her roommate to get frozen yogurt...........? :D I think quilting is a really good option too. Maybe just using the time to spend more quality time with your kids one-on-one would be nice.

Of course we are going for FRO-YO this weekend when you & Renee are here! (If only that was the only required service to get me into the celestial kingdom....I would be at the very top kingdom...on the top row....with Moroni, and Enos...oh wait! I don't think they had fro-yo in their time. Maybe that is not such a great idea--the celestial kingdom would be a little less cool of a place to be with out them. Sigh...back to Heavenly Father's plan.)

I think the Graduation quilt definitely counts as a service. Now I need some more ideas for the next 3 weeks. :)
