Lucy: Our Missionary

Lucy's one week mark!
The past couple of months have been really fun, listening to and participating in some of the events centering around Lucy and her mission call to Omaha, Nebraska: Winter Quarters.
I have been saving some pictures of the darling girl to post in honor of her going out.  (I always hesitate to post pictures that one might want to post themselves--hence the reason I haven't posted Alec and Jocelyn's Announcement pictures.)
Here are the pictures that I took of events surrounding Lucy's mission call.
The Harris Family girls at the temple on the day Lucy took out her endowments
Grandma Linda and Granddad with Lucy--Temple Endowment Day.
Thank you Heidi for taking a picture of Lucy and I!

Over Thanksgiving weekend we were able to go to church and hear Lucy give her farewell talk.  She did a really great job.
The men in the circle for Lucy's special blessing before her farewell talk!

Our family (minus Marissa who had to leave earlier to make the trek back to Logan) at Lucy's farewell.
(The color is so much better when I use my real camera instead of my cell phone.)

We are so proud of Sister Harris!

Go Lucy! I'm so excited for her to finally be off on her mission :) She's going to be so great!

And you can definitely post Alec and I's announcement picture, if you want to.
