Jocelyn has finished her winter semester finals and arrived early this morning. She was in the kitchen helping Gavin with his spelling words this afternoon.
"The word is took, Gavin. Marissa wanted to go gas up her car. So she invited her friend and took him with her."
I, laughing in the other room, call out. "Ummm....Jocelyn? He is in first grade. Try and work the spelling word into the first sentence of your essay."
