We have really enjoyed our Chevy Uplander over the past 6 years. It is crazy to think of the many life events that car has been a part of. Gavin's 1st-7th years, gymnastics, parks, preschool-first grade. Jocelyn's graduation from high school, and moving all her stuff to the Y. Taking our dogs Midnight and Oreo to Colorado and Arizona. Marissa learning to drive and finishing high school. Four Chinese interns taken to many local US sites, and of course trips to and from the airport. Two college tours with two daughters making life changing decisions. Tiffany growing from 4ft 2"" tall to 5ft 6", shuttling her to ballet, swim, and math competitions. Blue has taken me to miles and miles of training runs, and picked me up from 10 marathons. And I can't even begin to mention the numerous family events, games and recitals.

With pride I give you the last odometer reading from yesterday when we traded her in: 164,565
With fondness of Blue and gratitude to Shawn who continually has provided the ability for me to drive around to my hearts content, we say goodbye to a great family car. (Of course an honorable mention to my mechanic Jr. who kept the car running beautifully over the years. My mechanic's last name Runyan BTW--so it was truly meant to be!) And GOODBYE to Mini-vans!

I finally made it over here to take a gander at your swanky new "not quite a mini van". Cougar is beautiful & I think you so deserve it! I think your Christmas wreath will look amazing on the grill! Gavin is hilarious! I have been loving reading your blogs...I cannot believe Tiff is my height now nor that Jocelyn & Marissa will both be in college this upcoming year! You look FANTASTIC considering you could be a grandma in the next few years or so....bahahaha!
I hadn't even thought about my Christmas wreath, but you are right. It will look good. Thanks..I think for the comment on my age & looks. :)
It was definitely a compliment, my friend! You are so beautiful, inside & out!
Ahhh...thanks Sis! You've visited twice in three days! What a good friend you are to come over, read and comment. :)
